About the Opportunity: Used by the U.S. Aircraft Carrier fleet to record, calculate, analyze and report training readiness for shipboard personnel, CV-SHARP provides critical carrier training readiness data across the Carrier Fleet. This Jr. Software Engineer will work on web-based application development, primarily in the client side using Bootstrap, CSS3, JavaScript and various JavaScript Frameworks and Libraries.  The position involves handling a variety of tasks, that together, will deliver the CV-SHARP 3.0 product based on an MVVM/SPA design pattern.   About You:
  • BS in CS or Engineering or Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience or 6 years’ direct experience.
  • 2 years of experience using CSS
  • 2 years of experience with a responsive CSS framework
  • 2 years of experience with JavaScript and jQuery
  • 1-year experience with a two-way binding JavaScript library, preferred (example: KnockoutJS, Angular.js, Ember.js)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required.
Bonus Points:
  • Exposure to C# (or similar technology)
  • Exposure to Single Page Application (SPA) pattern
  • Exposure in SQL Server 2005 or later
